1. About Us
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Ride Mobility and any associated trading entities including 247 Taxi Services Ltd ("Ride Mobility", "we", "our", or "us").
Ride Mobility is a licensed private hire operator providing transportation and related services including:
- Wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) transport
- Assisted passenger and mobility transport
- School, SEN and passenger assistant transport
- Accessible airport transfers
- Corporate, healthcare and account transport
- Private hire transportation
- Contract and commissioned accessible transport
- Contract and subcontracted transport services
By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Definitions
"Booking" means any journey, reservation or transport request made with Ride Mobility.
"Passenger" means any individual travelling using our services.
"Driver" means any licensed private hire or hackney carriage driver undertaking bookings on behalf of Ride Mobility.
"Vehicle" means any licensed vehicle used to undertake transportation services.
"Passenger Assistant (PA)" means a transport escort or passenger assistant provided where required.
"Account Customer" means any business, organisation, council or individual with an approved account facility.
"Services" means any accessible transportation, booking, dispatch or related services provided by Ride Mobility.
"Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV)" means a specialist vehicle adapted for wheelchair users.
3. Bookings
3.1 Booking Acceptance
All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability.
Ride Mobility reserves the right to refuse, decline, terminate or cancel any booking where:
- safety concerns arise;
- abusive or inappropriate behaviour occurs;
- inaccurate information is provided;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- operational circumstances prevent completion of the journey.
3.2 Booking Information
Passengers must provide accurate information at the time of booking including:
- pickup and destination addresses;
- contact details;
- passenger numbers;
- luggage requirements;
- accessibility requirements;
- child seat requirements;
- passenger assistant requirements.
Failure to provide accurate information may result in delays, additional charges or cancellation.
3.3 Advance Bookings
Advance bookings are accepted subject to operational availability.
Estimated arrival and journey times are provided in good faith but are estimates only and may be affected by:
- traffic conditions;
- weather;
- accidents;
- road closures;
- vehicle breakdowns;
- operational delays;
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
4. Fares & Payments
4.1 Pricing
Fares may be calculated by:
- fixed quotation;
- metered tariff;
- contract rates;
- account pricing;
- mileage and time basis.
Additional charges may apply including:
- waiting time;
- parking charges;
- tolls;
- airport charges;
- cleaning charges;
- damage charges;
- additional pickup or drop-off points.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment by:
- cash;
- debit or credit card;
- bank transfer;
- secure payment links;
- approved account facilities.
4.3 Account Customers
Account invoices must be paid within agreed payment terms.
Ride Mobility reserves the right to:
- suspend account facilities;
- charge statutory interest;
- recover collection costs;
- refuse future bookings
where accounts fall into arrears.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 Passenger Cancellations
Cancellation charges may apply where:
- a driver has already been dispatched;
- cancellation occurs shortly before pickup;
- specialist vehicles or Passenger Assistants have been allocated;
- airport transfers are cancelled late.
5.2 No Shows
Where a passenger fails to attend the agreed pickup point within a reasonable waiting period, the booking may be treated as a no-show and the full fare may be charged.
5.3 Ride Mobility Cancellations
Ride Mobility reserves the right to cancel bookings due to:
- severe weather;
- operational emergencies;
- vehicle breakdowns;
- driver illness;
- licensing restrictions;
- safety concerns;
- circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Passenger Conduct
Passengers must behave appropriately and safely at all times.
Ride Mobility may refuse or terminate transport where a passenger:
- behaves abusively or aggressively;
- causes damage;
- smokes or vapes in vehicles;
- consumes illegal substances;
- places drivers or passengers at risk;
- acts unlawfully or dangerously.
Passengers remain responsible for:
- damage caused;
- cleaning costs;
- repair costs;
- losses arising from misconduct.
7. School Transport & Passenger Assistants
7.1 Safeguarding
Ride Mobility operates safeguarding procedures in accordance with local authority and statutory requirements.
Drivers and Passenger Assistants undertaking school or SEN transport may be subject to:
- enhanced DBS checks;
- safeguarding training;
- council compliance requirements;
- ongoing suitability assessments.
7.2 Behaviour
Unsafe or abusive behaviour may be reported to:
- parents or guardians;
- schools;
- local authorities;
- commissioning bodies;
- safeguarding agencies.
7.3 Passenger Assistants
Passenger Assistants are only provided where agreed within the booking or contract arrangement.
8. Wheelchair Accessible & Assisted Travel
8.1 Wheelchair Accessible Transport Services
Ride Mobility specialises in wheelchair accessible vehicle transport and assisted travel. Services are provided using appropriately licensed and insured vehicles suitable for the passenger's stated accessibility and mobility requirements.
8.2 Additional Charges
Wheelchair accessible transport services may incur additional charges due to:
- specialist vehicle requirements;
- accessibility equipment;
- operational costs;
- passenger assistance requirements;
- specialist transport provision.
Any additional costs associated with wheelchair accessible transport services shall be payable by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8.3 Customer Responsibility
Passengers must notify Ride Mobility at the time of booking of:
- whether the passenger will remain seated in their wheelchair during travel;
- wheelchair type, approximate dimensions and weight where requested;
- accessibility needs and any mobility equipment or luggage;
- passenger assistance requirements.
Failure to provide adequate notice may affect vehicle availability and service provision.
8.4 Licensing & Compliance
Ride Mobility and any approved subcontracted provider shall operate under the licensing, safeguarding and insurance requirements applicable to the relevant service. Wheelchairs and occupants must be secured using the vehicle's approved restraint systems in accordance with applicable guidance and equipment instructions.
9. Airport Transfers
9.1 Flight Monitoring
Where flight details are provided, Ride Mobility may monitor arrival times where operationally possible.
Passengers remain responsible for notifying us of:
- delays;
- cancellations;
- terminal changes.
9.2 Waiting Time
Airport waiting charges may apply after any included waiting period has expired.
10. Lost Property
Ride Mobility accepts no responsibility for items left in vehicles.
Where lost property is recovered:
- collection arrangements may be made;
- delivery charges may apply;
- unclaimed property may be disposed of after a reasonable period.
11. Subcontracted & Third-Party Services
Ride Mobility may subcontract bookings to licensed third-party operators or drivers where operationally necessary.
All subcontractors must hold appropriate:
- operator licences;
- vehicle licences;
- driver licences;
- valid insurance.
12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Subject to applicable law, Ride Mobility shall not be liable for:
- indirect or consequential losses;
- loss of profits;
- missed flights or appointments;
- business interruption;
- delays outside our reasonable control.
Ride Mobility's total liability relating to any booking shall not exceed the total fare paid for that booking unless otherwise required by law.
13. Data Protection & Privacy
Ride Mobility processes personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Information may be shared where necessary with:
- drivers;
- subcontractors;
- councils;
- schools;
- healthcare providers;
- safeguarding bodies;
- payment processors;
- enforcement agencies.
Where required for operational, safeguarding, legal or regulatory purposes.
14. CCTV & Recording
Vehicles or premises may operate CCTV or audio recording systems for:
- safeguarding;
- crime prevention;
- driver safety;
- incident investigation.
Such systems operate in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
15. Website & App Use
Where bookings are made via our website, mobile application or online systems:
- users must provide accurate information;
- misuse is prohibited;
- fraudulent activity may result in suspension or legal action.

18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
